Due to popular demand, we are delighted to be hosting the first ever Andrew Robson

The 5* Grand Hotel Bohemia is situated in the very heart of the wonderful medieval Old Town and a short walk along Prague’s picturesque streets to the abundance of architectural splendours, including the famous Charles Bridge, the gothic Tyn Church, the baroque

St Christopher Church, the Jewish Quarter Josefov, Powder Tower and one of the world’s most beautiful squares, the 11 th Century Staromestske Namesti, with its renowned

15 th century astronomical clock and stunning buildings.

As it is a midweek break we are able to stay for an extra night, so more time to hone up your skills at the Bridge table! The Bridge standard is friendly Intermediate, as always, and no partner needed. Jack will teach Andrew’s lessons and excellent set hands. (NB - these holidays are not suitable for those used to a serious 24 board Duplicate). Please book early as numbers are limited.

Prague:

Prague, historical pearl of Europe, is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and regularly ranks among the top ten most visited cities in Europe. The historical core of the city is a listed UNESCO and Natural Heritage Site.

Thanks to its rich history, going back to the 10th century, it contains sights in various architectural styles, from Romanesque rotundas to Gothic structures to unique Cubist buildings. The Urban Heritage Reserve, covering almost 9 km 2 , comprises a large number of treasured cultural heritage sites. The Hradčany castle compound including St. Vitus’ Cathedral is the largest of its kind in the world. Its skyline, viewed from the stone Charles Bridge or the historic Vltava river embankment is spectacular.
