Scientific Research (2002) for a paper entitled: “USING GIS FOR
LOCATING THE OPTIMAL SITES OF INDUSTRIAL GRANITE AT
WADI SANAD AREA, SOUTH SINAI. EGYPT”.
(2) Awarded the Partnership and Ownership (ParOwn) grant of the Egyptian
Ministry of Higher Education and State for Scientific Research (MHESR) for
distinguished young staff members to travel abroad to learn more technologies
(Cycle November 2006) in the field of the application of structural geology and
remote sensing for mitigation of natural hazards (to Geography department,

Harokopio University, Greece from the first of November 2007 until the end of
January 2008).
(3) Awarded the prize of Late Prof : Darwish El-Far for the best papers in the 8th
conference of Sinai Development , Ismailia, Egypt, 3rd of December, 2007.
