THE DECISION IS THAT:
i) Cabinet agrees to continue with an annual housing requirement of 748 dwellings
per annum, to inform the draft Local Plan, considering;
ii)

the Edge Analytics (December 2013) addendum report;

the Policy Manager’s covering report; and

the recommendations from the Planning and Infrastructure Overview and
Scrutiny Committee.
Agrees that 748 dwellings per annum be used as the annual housing requirement
for use in determining the borough’s 5 year land supply position.
THE REASONS FOR THE DECISION ARE:
 To enable the council to progress work on the Local Plan, and to confirm the
Council’s housing land supply position.
THE OPTIONS CONSIDERED AND REJECTED ARE:
 To not progress the Local Plan
 To not agree an annual housing requirement
THE CONFLICTS OF INTEREST ARE:
