Shop by Sunday 26th August 2012. Show Date: Sunday 2nd September

225g/8oz self raising flour
pinch of salt 55g/2oz butter
25g/1oz mature cheddar cheese, grated
150ml/5fl oz milk

Lemon Drizzle Cake .
175g/6oz self raising flour,1tsp baking powder, 175g/6oz Butter
or Marg, 175g/6oz caster sugar, 3 eggs, 2tbsps milk, rind 2
lemons. Lemon Syrup, juice 2 lemons 115g/4oz caster sugar.
Sift flour and baking powder in large bowl add rest of ingredients
beat till smooth. Bake in greased and lined 1kg/2lb loaf tin at
180*c (160*c fan) gas mark 4.for 1 hour. Heat lemon juice and
sugar till dissolved drizzle over cake whilst still warm.
C3 Honey Cake
225g/8ozs SR Flour; 150g/6ozs Honey; 100g/4ozs Butter or
Margarine; 150g/6ozs Sultanas; 2 Medium eggs (beaten) & Pinch of
Salt). Use creamed method keeping a little flour to add with the
sultanas. Bake in a well buttered 7-inch/175mm Diameter Tin for 75
minutes or until cooked at 180* c (160*c fan) gas mark 4
