The basic principles of presenting information in tables, charts, maps and text are explained. These are illustrated and then reinforced through practical exercises. Learning Outcomes: Participants will be equipped to disseminate statistical messages in a clear, accurate and meaningful way across various media to general audiences. Knowledge Assumed: It is not necessary to be a statistician as no formulae are presented. Course Format: The day will be a mix of presentation, tuition and exercises which all reinforce the communication message. The course will be classroom tutorial format with group breakout sessions.
