PETERSFIELD TOWN JUNIORS FOOTBALL CLUB Minutes of Managers meeting Held on the 4th October 2013 at the Square Brewery Apologies were received from Andrew Cannon, Adam Lipscombe, Richard Knights, Mark Chinnock, Paul Widgery, Dee Bukbardis and Georgia Thomas. Secretary’s Report The Secretary spoke at length regarding the fines that have already been received this season. She reminded Managers that it was agreed last season that if a fine for a player was received, then that player would be expected to pay the fine. The time limit for payment of fines is very short, so the secretary is paying the fine direct to Hampshire FA and then emailing the manager concerned, the Chairman and Vice Chairman. It is then expected that the Manager will collect the fine and take the payment round to the Secretary’s house as soon as it possible to do so. Fixtures are very tight this season, and she apologised on the lack of flexibility there is. Saturday is proving a problem already with so many Saturday fixtures. Herne Junior School is in reserve to be used, but if possible we want to keep as many matches as possible at Love Lane to give full capacity for the shop. Hampshire Cup score cards will be handed out at the end of the meeting. All that has to be done is put the players on, mark the referee and put it in a box. Everything else has been completed in advance. Remember to post the scorecard as soon as the match is over. We have already received a £15 fine for a late scorecard from Hampshire FA. Everyone will have their photo taken this evening so that they can be uploaded onto the website. Chairman’s Report The Chairman welcomed Mandy Winter to her first meeting in the Club in her new capacity as Child Welfare Officer. Please ensure that everyone has completed their forms. These must be completed every three years. You can complete this online and then Mandy will get back to the mangers when they have been notified. Mandy will send out the link to everyone again, and everyone can register with their FAN number. Level 1 certificate, safeguarding and 1st aid – Please encourage everyone to do it in the next couple of months. Once you have done this you will be eligible to attend the Youth Module. Every coach should attend, but they must have level one first. The cost will be covered by the club. Dates are being confirmed with Wey Valley. The new website is growing- please encourage all your parents to sign up to it. This needs to be used as a hub for information. There is a need to get all the email address on the website as well. To date only 54 of the 80 have signed up with their email address. Lee will follow up queries by contacting Pitcherio Line marking – ask you parents to help out. Remember to keep everyone behind the respect line. Leading on from respect lines, Hampshire FA will be doing spot checks all the time, so it is in your interest and the club’s interest to have everything in place. 1st aid kits must be with you at all times. If you haven’t got one let the Chairman know and you will be issued with one. Ensure you have a list of any medical requirements your players might have and all emergency contact numbers.
