Dr. Eitan Shamir short Bio Dr. Eitan Shamir is a Research Fellow in the Dado Center for Interdisciplinary Military Studies (CIMS) which is part of the IDF's Training & Doctrine Division. His research interest and publications focus on topics such as command and leadership, sources of military change and military culture. His book Transforming Command: The Pursuit of Mission Command in the US, UK and Israeli Armies, is forthcoming with Stanford Press in 2010. His military experience includes service in the IDF's paratroops brigade and a commission as a reserve officer in the IDF's Organizational Psychology Unit. Most of his career Eitan has been working internationally as a management consultant with firms such as PwC and KPMG Consulting, focusing on large scale corporate transformation and leadership development. He holds a PhD from the Department of War Studies, King's College London, a Master in Organizational Behavior (MOB) from Brigham Young University, Provo UT, USA and a BA degree in Political Science from Tel Aviv University, Israel
