Philosophy: The Clermont Elementary Guidance Program believes that ALL students and their individual needs will be considered in the planning and implementation of the school guidance program. We believe that services should be developmentally appropriate and based on the needs of students determined by relevant data and the input of the educational community. By using data we believe that services should be monitored for effectiveness and modified accordingly. ii. Mission Statement: The mission of the Clermont Elementary School Guidance Program is to provide comprehensive and developmentally appropriate guidance services to all students in the areas of academic, career and social personal development. We as state certified guidance counselors will advocate and provide services for the students of Clermont Elementary using American School Counselor Association (ASCA) standards and competencies.
