Criteria for Transfer
Minimum Credit Hours* Required for all Engineering Programs:
Calculus: 6 qtr. cr. hrs. or 4 sem. cr. hrs. (At UC: MATH 1061)
Physics and/or Chemistry: 6 qtr. cr. hrs. or 4 sem. cr. hrs. (At UC either CHEM 1040 or PHYS 2001)
Minimum Credit Hours Required for Technology Programs:
CM: MATH 1061 & PHYS 1051
EET & MET: MATH 1026 and either CHEM 1040 or PHYS 1051

*Transfer applicants may be admitted without completion of the required courses if they meet these 3 criteria:
1.) They have completed high school with a record that qualifies them for direct admission as a freshman to an Engineering
program in the College of Engineering and Applied Science.
2.) They have not taken or attempted high level college math and science courses such as calculus.
3.) Their overall GPA for completed college work from (4-year/ 2 year) institutions is 2.50/2.75 for CS; 2.75/3.00 for AE,
CMPE, EE; 3.00/3.50 for BME, CE, CHE, ENVE; 3.60/3.80 for ASE.
