EWATEC was founded in 1992 to provide specially – consulting services in
environmental engineering and environmental management and in related
disciplines to a wide range of clients.
EWATEC offers completely independent advice or council with no affiliation
with suppliers.
EWATEC employs a number of professional engineers & scientists, with
extensive accumulated experience in all aspects of environmental engineering.
EWATEC services extend from pre-investment studies to supervising the
implementation, commissioning & trial running to training of personnel both in
technical & managerial fields in addition to conducting environmental
economic studies including cost benefit analysis.
EWATEC has been continuously providing consultations & training programs
for large & small enterprises as well as local governmental & foreign agencies
working in Egypt.
EWATEC is approved as Environmental Consultant by the Egyptian
Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) & by several foreign agencies & projects
programs DANIDA – EPAP – FINNIDA – SEAM – EEIF – KFW – USAID – AAST &

COMPANY PRINCIPALS
 Dr. Samia Massoud Mohamed Professional engineer and environmental
specialist. Obtained her PhD in environmental engineering in 1978 from the
University of British Colombia, Canada.
Dr. Samia has an extensive experience in the fields of pollution prevention &
control in various industries in both Egypt & Canada. In addition, she
possesses direct experience in waste management, cleaner production, waste
recycling, wastewater treatment and environmental risk assessment.
 Mr. Ahmed Farid Fadl Registered chartered accountant and a member of the
Institute of Internal Auditors, U.S.A.
Mr. Fadl has an extensive experience in the fields of accounting, auditing
and economics both in Egypt and abroad.

The cleaner production approach in industry is practiced & implemented by
EWATEC in different industrial sectors for large, medium & small size

1. Replication of Transfer of Environmental Sound Technology in the South
Mediterranean Region (MED TEST) Project" in Alexandria Region, UNIDO
Project. Funded by GEF, Contracted to Cleaner Production Technology Center
(ENCPC) in partnership with EWATEC.
2. Boosting Best Available Techniques in the Mediterranean Partner Countries
(BAT4MED) Project, financed by the European Union under the 7th Year
Framework Program. - Involves 8 organizations from 6 different countries.
3. Transfer of Environmental Sound Technology in the South Mediterranean
