Application for 2015-2016 AY Study Abroad Support Funding from the Office of Globalization New Support & Accountability Guidelines The Office of Globalization aids and assists faculty in the development and sustainability of departmental study abroad programs. Please familiarize yourself with the new support and accountability structure in obtaining financial support for CoT international activities. The new guidelines for additional support will take into consideration: 1) identified strategic partnerships and locations, 2) faculty scholarly outcome, 3) industrial engagement, 4) identified sustainability plan, 5) student technical educational value, 6) short & long term educational exchanges, and 7) documented interdisciplinary collaborations. There will be a possibility of up to $3,000 dollars support from the Office of Globalization with a requirement of $1,500 dollars departmental money for a total of $4,500 dollars to be used to reduce “Cost per Student” rate request. All dollar requests will be put on the budget sheet provided. Scholarly Publication Proof of a scholarly publication as a result of this study abroad program will result in an additional $500 support in a subsequent year of offering the program.
