Unit Length: 4 weeks
Instructional Objectives:













Grammar level: Memorize vocabulary lessons 23-26 (Meal: table service, beverages;
meat, vegetables, fruit, condiments, breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, restaurant)
Memorize the four rules of objective pronoun placement in sentences
Continue the examination and use of direct objects
Introduce subtle distinction between Ser vs. Estar before adjectives
Introduce Indefinite & Negative Words
Introduce irregular UE verbs stem changing verbs
- contar, costar, mostrar, jugar, recorder, encontrar, poder, volver, devolver,
dormir, morir
Logic level: Apply the pronouns to the correct conjugations of irregular UE verbs
Ascertain the value of indefinite & negative words as compared to the positive
construction
Decode the comparative adjectives qualities
Comparing Quantities
Comparing Qualities
Identify specific verbs that require the prepositions before infinitives
Review for 9 week exam

word(s).
Oral recitation of the weekly vocabulary list once per class
Daily written grammar lessons from Chapters 23-26
Logical verbal responses to questions utilizing the weekly vocabulary words.
