What are the Locally Advanced Breast Cancer
Clinic (LABC) Referral Criteria?
Who is eligible for care in the LABC?
Patients with:
-
a clinically palpable mass of > 5 cm
clinical involvement of skin; peau d’orange, extensive erythema
or tumour erosion through the skin
a clinically fixed palpable breast mass
a clinically fixed axillary mass with or without a palpable breast
mass
How Do I Refer My Patients?
New Patient Referral Form available at; Patient referral form
Reports required by the admitting department for breast cancer patients (if available); Breast
referral information
Fax referrals to 604-930-4046. Please indicate in Special Patient Needs that patient is being
referred to the Locally Advanced Breast Cancer Clinic. Should you have questions or
