Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) is another ERIKS service which can deliver extensive

Our highly-trained, dedicated, CBM technicians – who have extensive vessel experience –
can carry out a range of monitoring services to help you establish a reliability-based
maintenance strategy. As well as reducing the risk of catastrophic failures, extending
equipment life and increasing productivity, CBM can even be used to extend the interval
between inspections, on agreement with the relevant classification bodies.

example, whilst recently dismantling an alternator in preparation for a rewind, ERIKS
technicians realised they could upgrade the rewind to provide the same output in a smaller
