Waiver of Liability
Participants agree to indemnify and hold Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days Association harmless from
and against any and all claims or losses arising from property damage or personal injury which may
result from participation in such contest and while fulfilling obligations of the above said requirements
and do further agree to reimburse Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days Association for any payment it
may make in connection with such claims or losses.

Pageant Rules

Senior Contest
1) Applicant must be at least 16 years of age and no more than 25 years of age at the time of the rodeo.
2) Applicant must not have been a prior senior queen of the Strawberry Days Rodeo.
3) Winning contestants must be available for pre- and post-rodeo radio, T.V. and public appearances.
4) Winning contestants must attend Strawberry Days Rodeo celebration and related activities.
5) Winning contestants must ride the same horse used to compete in the pageant throughout the year’s events barring sickness and
injury. Waiver to this requirement is subject to committee approval.
6) Should winning contestants be unable to fulfill obligations, all prizes and monies paid shall be returned in full to the
Strawberry Days Association. The Association therefore has the right to reallocate gifts to runners up.
7) Should Queen be unable to fulfill obligations to attend the Miss Utah Pageant, all monies paid in towards application
fee shall be forfeited to the first runner up, then second runner up, alternate etc. at the committee’s discretion.
8) Winning contestants must provide their own transportation to and from all activities.
9) Must be a resident of Utah.
10) Scores will be mailed, if requested, after the pageant. Judges opinion should be requested by contestant immediately
following the event. Judges contact information will not be provided.
11) Must not be or have been married.
Junior Contest
1) Applicant must be at least 8 years of age and no more than 15 years of age at the time of the rodeo.
2) Applicant must not have been a prior junior queen of the Strawberry Days Rodeo.
