General Rules
1.
Participants for the Macon County Parade of Princesses must be 5 years of age by the actual day of the
Pageant (Sunday, August 9, 2015) and not have reached her 10th birthday by the pageant date.
You may be asked to submit a copy of child’s birth certificate to show proof of age.
2.
Contestants are required to pay a $35.00 entry fee made payable to Melissa Muirheid
3.
Contestant agrees to be a) interviewed on stage during the pageant by former Queen
b) to appear in a nice dress (pageant wear is not necessary)
4.
No make-up allowed at this age level. Hair must be age appropriate.
5.
All practices and rehearsals are strongly encouraged and must be attended by all Princess participants
unless excused by the Director. Final Rehearsal is REQUIRED – no exceptions.
6.
All contestants are required to help sell at least 35 - raffle tickets prior to the pageant date to help cover
pageant expenses. Raffle will be held during the pageant. Winning ticket does not need to be present to
win. Tickets are $1.00 each.
7.
Contestants will decorate a shoe box for the People’s Choice Award.
