She has fantastic energy both physically and mentally and is an inspiration to work with. Her

NAOMI STALKER Deputy Stage Manager Quiz Show 2 part of the Traverse Spring Season
Naomi shows what it means to be a member of the Stage Management profession and truly shows
off the skill, dedication and understanding that is required for this position

KEVIN SMITH Stage Manager Fragments of Ash – Tour
3-hour get-ins and 1½ hour get-outs were managed with great good humour and efficiency. A
complicated lighting plot and music cues proved no obstacle to him and he ran the shows like
clockwork. He drove the van and kept everyone’s spirits up and charmed the various venue
managers and promoters.

Nicola never was anything other than charming and delightful - even when receiving calls at 2 AM.
A marvellously discrete, super efficient, immensely likeable company manager - who worked herself
into the ground for this production. Whoever she works with next is lucky indeed

Rep Season at RSC
The best DSM I’ve ever worked with – very good with actors and crew, calm under pressure,
efficient, calm and a lovely, lovely person. On tour she was always ahead of the game in
anticipating and dealing with technical issues and idiosyncrasies particular to each new venue.

Sunita made homey and lemon tea for us if our throats were sore and ran the show so well and was
.. truly part of the ensemble. She worked professionally to the highest degree.

TEAM AWARD:
The curious incident of the dog in the night-time Janice Heyes and team Apollo Theatre
the mathematical timing and placement of props and effects was so essential and so perfectly
accomplished. The result was one beautifully co-ordinated whole.

Fiona has an innate sense of calm and a lovely personable manner which is a huge asset for a stage
manager. Fiona has made noticeable and outstanding progress and I absolutely know she has the
makings of an extremely good career in stage management ahead of her.

From a position..hiding in the shadows, struggling to find her voice in the crowd, over the last six
months Alex has truly risen above the competition... It was evident that Alex has a passion for this
genre of theatre and the way she took responsibility for so many diverse areas of the production was
truly impressive.

Christina started her stage management training with us shy and unconfident with her skills but had

manager with a bright future and has developed a gift for keeping order without being oppressive.

Louise ...has developed into an exceptional young stage manager and one who will go far within the

them to be responsible for themselves.
