TERMS AND CONDITIONS:







Space rental fees are payable with this application form and are ONLY refundable under the
following circumstances:
1. The vendor application is NOT accepted by the Time Travelers’ Bazaar.
2. The Time Travelers’ Bazaar cancels the event.
3. The vendor cancels their contract BEFORE Friday April 11, 2014
Spaces will be assigned in the order that application forms are received, and at the discretion of
the event organizer.
Vendors may not sublet or reassign their space without prior consent from the event organizer.
Please read the Vendor Information sheet IN FULL. By signing below, the vendor agrees to
abide by all the terms and conditions outlined therein. Final deadline for applications and paid
fees is Thursday April 10, 2014, cash or paypal only.
The organizer will keep a waitlist for vendor cancellations once the venue is full.
Vendor applications received after Thursday April 10th will not be considered UNLESS there is
still space available in the venue.
There is NO SMOKING in building OR on the grounds as per provincial bylaws.

SHOULD the Time Travelers’ Bazaar accept this application, then this document shall
become a contract on the following terms:
1. The vendor, in performance of this contract, shall comply with all applicable local, provincial and
federal ordinances and laws.
2. The vendor must confine their merchandise, all sales or requests for contributions and/or
activities to the space assigned, and keep all aisles clear of merchandise. The posting of any
advertisement, bill, sign, banner or printed matter, other than within the vendor’s assigned
space, is strictly prohibited.
3. Site opens PROMPTLY at 9:30 am for vendor set-up. Vendors are expected to show up in a
timely manner and be ready for the opening of the Bazaar at 10:30 pm SHARP. This allows a
full hour for vendor set-up.
4. The Bazaar will close to the public at 5 pm, and the site is to be entirely cleared by 6:00 pm.
Vendors MUST be finished pack-up and site clearance BY 6:00 pm. Any vendor delaying this
will be responsible for paying any extension in site rental costs incurred to the Bazaar.
5. Vendors are to leave NOTHING on site at the end of the day.
6. Staples, thumbtacks, scotch tape and all other materials which may damage the walls, tables or
floor cannot be used. Offenders will be held responsible for any and all cleaning and restoration
costs.
7. The sale or use of controlled substances is strictly prohibited as per municipal, provincial, and
federal laws.
8. Banned items for sale include, but are not limited to real weapons, any live animals or plants,
pornography, and other offensive items. The Time Travelers’ Bazaar reserves the right to
restrict the display or sale of any item deemed unsuitable at their sole discretion, and the vendor
agrees to remove immediately any material or merchandise being offered for sale or exhibit that
does not meet the approval of the Bazaar. If in doubt, ask us beforehand. Sales of FOOD and
BEVERAGES are restricted to approved vendors only and are severely limited by Vancouver
Coastal Health. Contact organizer for information.
9. The Bazaar reserves the right to relocate any vendor’s space within the room if necessary for
safety or better use of premises.
10. The Bazaar reserves the right to interpret the provisions of this contract; in the event of any
disagreement with the contractor as to the meaning of such provisions, the Bazaar’s
interpretation shall be final and binding.
11. The Time Travelers’ Bazaar reserves the right to have a vendor removed from the premises for
contract violation and / or inappropriate or abusive behaviour.
LIABILITY WAIVER
By participating in the Time Travelers’ Bazaar, the vendor agrees to release, discharge, hold harmless
and forever acquit the Time Travelers’ Bazaar, Vancouverites for Steampunk, Tracey Ernst, other
sponsors and their officers, agents, representatives and employees from any and all actions, causes of
actions, claims, or any liabilities whatsoever, known or unknown, now existing or which may arise in the
future, on account of or in any way related to, or arising out of participation in the said Bazaar, including
but not restricted to any loss or damage, injury or expense. Further the vendor assumes all
responsibility for his/her employee(s), helpers, or any accompanying nonparticipants.
