Define the scope of work Move the fully loaded Big Bite Electron detector from the floor of Hall A onto the Big Bite support frame. This will be done in 3 stages. The first stage will be to rig and move the detector package from the beam left side of the Hall to the beam right side on the downstream side of the target between the spectrometers. The second stage is to re-rig the package in order to remove the support legs that hold the detector in a vertical position and reposition the detector plane to a 10 degree angle and mount it its 10 degree support brackets. The final stage is to lift the detector onto the platform located on the big Bite spectrometer stand and secure it to the stand. 2. Perform work within controls (follow procedure) Summary of job Move the fully loaded Big Bite Electron detector from the floor of Hall A onto the Big Bite support frame. This will be done in 3 stages. The final stage is to lift the detector onto the platform located on the big Bite spectrometer stand and secure it to the stand. The weight of the fully loaded electron package including lead glass, 2 wire chambers Cerenkov and scintillators is XXXXXXXXXXX lbs but the weight can change depending on what detectors are installed and should be weighed after each configuration change. Ensure that all cables and cords are removed from detector Ensure that all sub assemblies of the detector are secure and supported Rig the detector assembly for a level lift using 4-12 ft yellow slings at the engineered lifting points To lift assembly over spectrometer you must double the lings making their length 6 ft. Install the vertical laser onto the top of the crane hook Attach a tag line to the bottom support beam. Lift the detector just enough to clear any floor obstructions and test the stability of the load. Move the detector to the side of the spectrometer and lift it to a level that will clear the spectrometer and cryo lines. Rotate the crane to a position that locates the detector in the clear space downstream of the BB stand and lower it to the floor. Stage equipment and materials needed for stage 2.
