Discussion on Alumni Mentoring Shaun: Deans want to work on it, monthly lunch with prominent alumni connected with Food For Thought Chad: didn’t know existed so not working, knew an alumnus and didn’t even know it, would be great for areas that aren’t DC and NYC Andrew: worried nothing would actually happen, maybe start with OCS doing an event that brings them together Zac: Andrew’s is good idea, need strong leadership. EIW sucked because these people are interviewing so many people, can’t stand out. This would have you stand out to people. Chris: would be more interested in practice area mentorship Ashley: with regional circles, don’t ignore international community Tiffany: is there a current database? Shaun: yes, but they have to opt in and there’s not a lot on it. Administration is working with LinkedIn because way more have identified Georgetown Law. Justin: can search by yourself. Can search by law school on almost every firm’s website. Arthur: as Peer Advisor, have mixed quality of interactions. Anything that would supplement that would be helpful. 9:40-9:45 PM.
