Materials needed: 1- a few parchment for drawing the model patterns on it 2- Ruler, curved ruler (riga), tape measure, pencils, eraser, a few coloured pencils 3- For sewing the garment, 50 cm lenght , 140-150 cm width rose colour or soft pink powder color satin with lycra fabric 4- 100 cm lenght 140 cm width fabric which may be compatible coloured with previous mentioned satin with lycra fabric above (red or alternative colours of red harmonious with rose colour/soft pink powder colour) 5- This is not so necessary but it can be more harmonious for the adornment of the garment. I am planning to sew dark red coloured beads which are similar to pomegranate grains on a cream coloured piece of fabric on front of skirt piece of the garment. Originally calligraphy is a two semesters lasting and vocational selective and applied course which is held by Asst. Prof. Mehtap Uygungoz in our department. Relationship between calligraphy and its techniques, as well as the norm of aesthetics with functionalism, anatomy of letters, line, color, form, composition are some of the some of the criterias of this course. A workshop is planned related with this course. Music and calligraphy relationship will be examined. Music has the same terms with graphic design and calligraphy. They both have the sense of rhythm, harmony, resonance… The workshop can be conducted for 3 hours per day for 3 days (Monday-3hours/Tuesday-3hours and Wednesday-3 hours). Or it can be organized for 2 days 4 hours per day (Monday4hours/Tuesday-4hours). Maximum 6 students for an applied workshop. 5 B. Burak Kaptan : Associate Professor 6 Ozgur Kaptan 7 Ece Kanışkan Assistant Professor Anadolu University Interior Design Department/Design and Architecture Faculty Anadolu University, Ceramics Department/Fine Arts Faculty Anadolu University, Fashion Design Department/Design and Architecture Academic Teacher Mobility Academic Teacher Mobility Academic Teacher Mobility Materials needed: -Lots of paper (various qualities and best quality preferably) -Inks (with color choices) -Natural materials (sponge, cotton, tree branches, small pieces of wood, matches, wooden sticks…etc.) -Brushes -A computer and sound system (This workshop is related with music and calligraphy, so we will need a computer and a sound system to have the students listen the playlists or mp3 that we will bring with us) . A workshop will be conducted on a topic which is a combination of color, texture, function and void/interior relation that is executed on design departments for 2 semesters. It's aim is to make the students to examine user-space-function relations with perceiving the possibilities of the spatial opportunities of a three dimensional limited space interior. The materials which is needed for this workshop is; 5x5 cm pasteboard, a material for texture (cloth, angel hair pasta, sandpaper and etc.) color paint, glue. At the first day there can be a 30 minute presentation on interior-function-user and void relationship at interior architecture. The workshop can be conducted for 3 hours per day for 3 days (Monday-3hours/Tuesday-3hours and Wednesday-3 hours). Or it can be organized for 2 days 4 hours per day (Monday4hours/Tuesday-4hours). Maximum 12-20 students for an applied workshop. Pepakura Workshop: Pepakura workshop deals with the easy transfer of 3 Dimensional data from computer to paper models. The workshop gets its name from the computer program which converts 3d models into 2 dimensional paper patterns. The workshop will be partially conducted as presentation. Materials needed: just thick paper print outs (A3 sized) These will be cut by students and glued and assembled.
