Descrizione: The forum on international artistic mobility to be held from 11-12 November 2014 in Milan is
promoted jointly by the Directorate General for Performing Arts and the Directorate General for Landscape,
Visual Arts, Architecture and Contemporary Art of the Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities in
collaboration with GAI- Associazione per il circuito dei Giovani Artisti Italiani and the Municipality of Milan.
The goal of the forum is mostly to feed the ongoing confrontation in Europe among conditions and best
practices of mobility, in order to contribute to the prioritization of the work plan for culture 2014-2020 with a
more updated framework and perspectives on an issue that directly concerns the artistic dimension and
involves issues that belong to the overall sense of European citizenship.
Mobility represents a resource for educational and creative improvement of young European artists, a tool for
employment in the international level and an opportunity for new conditions and possibilities of work and
collaboration.
