Southern Miss Chapter AED Application

Full Membership $85 (lifetime fee)
AED National Criteria: Student must have at least a 3.2 overall GPA, a 3.2 science & math
GPA (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math), and at least three semesters of college credits, of
which at least one semester must be at USM.
Students must attend the Spring AED Induction Ceremony in order to become a Full Member.
If you do not attend the AED initiation, you will NOT be granted full membership in AED and
all fees paid will become property of the Southern Miss Chapter.
Associate Membership $45
Students who do not meet the AED National Criteria stated above may join the Southern Miss
chapter at any time as an Associate member, and may attend all Chapter meetings.
After meeting the AED National Criteria, students may be inducted as Full Members for an
additional $40 fee (total of $85 for full membership).

Completed Application form(s) and Dues may be submitted to the Preprofessional Office in the
Chain Technology Building (TEC 103) or mailed to the Preprofessional Office, USM Box 5165
using campus mail.
Write checks payable to USM AED or pay cash in person. DO NOT MAIL CASH.
