SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The Solid Waste Management 109 Board of Pendleton County acts as an arm of
the Pendleton County Fiscal Court making decisions and creating regulations to
control and manage disposal of solid waste in our district. The Pendleton County
109 Board controls educational funds coming from the Rumpke Company and is
offering scholarship money to graduates of Pendleton County.
GUIDELINES FOR APPLICATION.

2. The Scholarship winner will be selected by the Pendleton County 109 Board
based on the applications submitted and its decision will be final.
3. The scholarship will be presented during the annual Pendleton County High
School’s Class Night Program.
4. The amount and number of scholarships will be determined by the 109 Board.
It will be your responsibility to pick up your award from the Solid Waste
Coordinator.
5. The applicant must submit a completed application along with two letters of
recommendation from people who know the applicant’s work.
6. Application and essay must be typed. Applications that are handwritten will not be considered. Essay should be printed on a separate page and
attached to application. Do NOT put your name on the essay page.
