Junior Achievement Scholarship in honor of Maria Schreyer Scholarship Overview As of December 16, 2011 Qualifications The applicant must be a current High School student. He/She must have taught a minimum of two elementary school JA program classes. At least one class must have been completed during this school year (one class equals 5 JA program activities or visits to the classroom) and lawfully reside in the United States. Award $3,000 Use of Scholarship Award Scholarships may be applied to tuition at any (post secondary) educational institution. Other educational experiences may be considered upon request. Financial awards will be mailed directly to the institution in the award recipient’s name. Criteria Academic success School and Community Activities Employment and Related Experiences Junior Achievement Involvement Essay: An essay is required and limited to three pages. Spelling, grammar, punctuation, and overall presentation will be considered.
