2.01
GENERAL
The intent of these specifications is to describe the equipment and functional
requirements of an outdoor intrusion detection system. Brand names and catalog
numbers included in this specification are used to establish standards of quality and
performance characteristics, not for the purpose of limiting competitive bidding.
A. The sensor shall be used as an active laser motion sensor in remote monitored
CCTV applications. Areas of coverage shall be designed to match common fixed
camera and lens combinations.
B. The sensor shall have a maximum mounting height of 50 feet in Vertical Mode
and 28 inches in Horizontal Mode.
C. The sensor shall provide anti-masking and anti-rotation features.
D. The sensor shall have Class 1 Laser Optics, with a maximum operating radius of
100 feet.
E. The sensor shall have an ethernet port for direct network connection to 3 rd party
supported NVR and VMS.
F. The sensor shall have 4 independent alarm zones within the scan area, with 8
available when connected via ethernet.
G. The sensor shall have 2 unique detection preset modes: Vehicle Detection Mode
and Indoor Ceiling/Wall Protection.
H. The sensor shall include a heater for use in cold climates (down to -40F)
I. The sensor shall have an IP-66 rated polycarbonate housing.
