A machine called a “skid steer” removes sediment and vegetation in
preparation for installing new concrete lining in the Pleasant Valley
ditch along 31st Street north of Echo Lane/Bijou Street in early April,
during the first week of a month-long repair project by city contractor
DRX Enterprises. The work was separate from a long-range plan for
Camp Creek’s drainage down 31st Street.
