PARAMETERIZATION OF THE NUCLEUS-NUCLEUS POTENTIAL R.O. Akyuz and A. Winther Proc. Enrico Fermi Int. School of Physics, 1979, “Nuclear structure and heavy-ion reactions”, ed. R.A. Broglia, C.H. Dasso and R. Ricci (North-Holland, Amsterdam, 1981) p. 491 1. The nuclear part of the nucleus-nucleus potential in paper [1], U, is parameterized as U (r ) V 1 e 0 ( r RP RT )/ aV , (1) with the potential depth is V0 16 aV RTP . In these expressions the reduced radius is RTP RT RP , RT RP with Ri 1.20 Ai1/3 0.09 fm. The diffuseness parameter is 1 1.17 1 0.53 AP1/3 AT1/3 fm 1 , aV while the surface tension parameter is 0.95 1 1.8 N P Z P NT ZT AP AT 2 MeV fm . 2. The imaginary part of the nucleus-nucleus potential is not discussed in paper [1]. In the NRV the radius and diffuseness parameters of imaginary part RW and aW are suggested to be equal to the real part’s ones, while imaginary depth W0 is a quarter of the real depth. This choice is arbitrary therefore these parameters should be fitted additionally. 3. The Coulomb potential radius is not defined in paper [1], so in the NRV it is equal to RC 1.30 AP1/3 +AT1/3 fm.
