EXAMPLES OF WORK Administers fiscal operations, such as planning budgets, authorizing expenditures and coordinating financial reporting. Directs and coordinates activities of medical, nursing, technical, clerical, service, and maintenance personnel of health care facility or mobile unit. Develops or expands medical programs or health services for research, rehabilitation, and community health promotion. Develops organizational policies and procedures and establishes evaluative or operational criteria for facility or medical unit. Implements and administers programs and services for health care or medical facility. Directs the establishment of work schedules and assignments for staff, according to workload, space and equipment availability. Directs the preparation of the status reporting of programs, services, and quality initiatives. Recruits, hires, and evaluates the performance of medical and management staff and auxiliary personnel.
