Religion and Culture Ph.D. Program Tracking Sheet School of Theology and Religious Studies Catholic University of America (Revised Draft, 2012) Because the Religion and Culture Academic Area is broad and can encompass a wide variety of foci and topics, this Doctoral Program Tracking Sheet should be prepared at the beginning of doctoral studies to provide a “road map” for the student. This is not a binding contract, since conditions may change in the course of a student’s career (e.g., a professor may retire or a course may not be offered as anticipated). Nevertheless, this proposal is an important instrument in ensuring that the student’s course of study is workable, completes all formal program requirements, and has a clear focus. In addition to this “road map” version of the Tracking Sheet, a duplicate form must also be complete in reference to the student’s actual course of matriculation.
