DEPARTMENT ACTION PLANS 2014-15 DEPARTMENT: ECO-SCHOOLS Priority Areas for Development Identified by Evaluative Process: Energy and Litter remain priorities for whole school, transport has been identified as a topic to be developed this year Baseline Position: Energy continue to be wasted in school, grounds have significantly improved in terms of levels of litter but there remain flash areas, gum removed from areas of the schools at a cost of £600, awareness raising of this issue must continue, school grounds have improved dramatically with the addition of a wild flower area, some classroom teachers report still not having a blue paper bin, energy and litter monitoring very successful, student and teacher awareness of sustainable schools have been substantially raised.
