Agricultural Youth Contest Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR OBLIGATION NECESSARY

A PURCHASE OR OBLIGATION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING

1. ELIGIBILITY: The Agricultural Youth Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States of America residing within the states of South Dakota or Nebraska involved in Future Farmers of America (FFA) and 4-H sponsored projects.

Participants must be between 12 and 18 years. Employees, officers and directors of Farm Credit Services of America

(“Sponsor”), subsidiaries and affiliated companies, successors and assigns, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, insurers, legal advisors, and their respective relatives (including the spouse, and any person related to the above individuals, or the spouse, as parent, child, sibling, step-parent, step-child, step-sibling, half-sibling, uncle or aunt, niece or nephew, grandparent, grandchild, or the spouse of any of the above) and individuals residing in their same household

(whether or not related) are not eligible. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

2. CONTEST PERIOD: The entire contest period begins on 7/1/2015, and ends on 10/15/2015.

3. TO ENTER: Submit your project logs and record books to your FFA Advisor or 4-H Leader. Advisors/Leaders will contact

with the names of members that have the most complete record books. A copy or master copy of the record books will be submitted to Laurie Larsen in order for staff at KK93 and Farm Credit Services of America to review and select the winners. Limit one entry per person. Entries must be received by 5:00 pm (local time) on 10/15/15.

Farm Credit Services of America is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries not received in time for judging.

4. JUDGING: Contest Winners shall be those entrants determined to have the best kept logs or other records of their sponsored project. Winners will be determined in the sole discretion of County 4-H Leaders and FFA Advisors in conjunction with Sponsors KK93 radio station and/or Farm Credit Services of America staff.

5. AWARDS: Two (2) Apple iPad mini 2s, each valued at approx. $300, will be in each of the following counties: Clay

County, SD; Yankton County, SD; Knox County, NE; Cedar County, NE; and Dixon County, NE. One (1) iPad mini 2 will be awarded to each winner. Winner is responsible for all taxes and fees on prize awarded.

6. GENERAL CONDITIONS: (a) By participating, entrants release, discharge and agree to hold harmless Sponsor, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents for any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to property or person, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from or in connection with participation in this skills contest. (b) By accepting an award, except where legally prohibited, winners grant (and agree to confirm such grant in writing) to Sponsor the right to the use, without additional compensation, of his/her name, picture, likeness, voice, biographical information and statements, at any time for advertising, trade publicity, promotional and commercial purposes in all media without notice, review or approval. (c) Winners may be required to complete, sign and return an Eligibility Statement and Release within ten (10) days of receipt of document. If document is not returned timely or if award notification or award is returned as nondeliverable or if a winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, the award will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. (d) Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer an award or redeem an award for cash or credit. (e) Taxes on award are the sole responsibility of the winner. (f) All record books submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. (g) All personal information submitted by entrants can be used by

Sponsor for future mailings or marketing and or promotion materials and/or for follow-up contacts by Sponsor.

7. WINNERS LIST: For names of winners, mail a self-addressed stamped envelope for receipt by 11/15/2015, to Farm

Credit Services of America, Attn: Marketing Youth Ag Contest, PO Box 2409, Omaha, NE 68103-2409.

8. OFFICIAL RULES: A copy of these rules is available to anyone who requests such in writing to Farm Credit Services of
