TASK
To be able to speak, read, write and understand Gujarati Alphabets Letters, in order as
well as individually. They must speak clearly using the correct sounds. They must
say it together as well an individually. They must write in print quality. Alphabet
letters should be able to recognised & translated in English as per sound. e.g. ‘�’ - ka
etc.Should be able to recognise, speak & write two to three letter simple words
without the use of the barakhadi.
The higher group can start read & write 3 to 4 letter words sentences without the use
of barakhadi -by pictures as well as AS a words and know the meaning in English.
e.g. “��� MAGAN “����” AJAGAR
They must be able to Speak, Read, Write and understand numbers from 1 to 20.
The class can be distributed into groups by the ability and the age of the students.
Written practice for letters and words can be followed as in book –
Teach to speak and recognise Gujarati alphabet letters by pictures using charts,
objects, toys, cards, colouring pictures, pulses, television video, models or any other
way of creativeness. The worksheets for letters, pictures can be prepared for to teach
Teachers can breakdown the syllabus term wise according to the ability & cooperation of students and divide them into groups.
It is important to concentrate on correct pronunciation when reading takes place &
the correct basic way of writing should be followed. (The dotted diagram of letters of
Alphabet can be useful to teach correct basic way of writing.)
At all time Gujarati and English must be spoken in the class.

Task: To be able to speak, read, write and understand all Gujarati alphabets from the beginning
and in order. They must write in print quality. They must speak clearly using the
correct sounds. They must say it together as well as individually. They should be able
to use barakhadi to write and read two, three or more letter simple words -by pictures as
well as words and know the meaning in English. They should be able to speak, read,
write and understand all the vowels. They should be able to make small simple three to
four words sentences. They must be able to Speak, Read, and understand numbers from 1
to 50.
The class can be distributed into groups by the ability and the age of the students.
Suggestion for the use of BOOKS to cover the work for different groups.

1 to 100, 1000 and1 to 100 in words. . Students should be able to read and write joined-up
letters.
It is important to concentrate on correct pronunciation when reading takes place & the
correct basic way of writing should be followed.
The class can be distributed into groups by the ability of the students.
