Please place all samples in their proper place in the refrigerator inside the DNA Core Lab. Samples for PAGE only should dried completely.
All templates and primers must be labeled and the concentration clearly written.
Plasmid to be sequenced should be at a concentration of 100 ng/ul. (Please see us if you have a big insert > 3kb, or High GC template).
PCR product 10 ng/ul depending on the size (see us for information), primer conc. 20 ng/ul. Amounts of DNA and primer required 10ul/rxn.
We do not have time to dilute or concentrate the samples that are at improper concentrations.
For best results, samples should be in dH2O not TE.
Drop box color: green 1, 2 or 3, Orange 1, 2 or 3, Yellow 1, 2 or 3, Black 1, 2, 3, or 4, Blue 1 or 2, Pink 1 or 2.
