 Mary mackillop was born on the 15th of January in 1842.
 she died in 1909 on the 18th of August.

Mary had three different jobs, these were a clerk ,a
governess and a teacher.
Mary mackillop grew up in Brunswick street Fitzroy
Melbourne and moved to Penola in 1860 when she was
18
 Mary is a hero because she taught poor children for no
money
 Mary had lots of courage which helped her teach
children
