that power is not always
used wisely.
Space to be me will
enable students to see
they are unique and to
recognise there are a
range of influences upon
our beliefs, values and

students to consider the
importance of times of
reflection in their own
and others lives.
Marriage as a
relationship will let
pupils examine the value
of parental input in the
choice of marriage

look at the Hindu
example of Rama and Sita
and their relationship.

Bystanding will enable

work of a range of
religious charities and
investigate the ways
people can help others.
Service to all to reflect
upon the meaning of
service for pupils own

from the Sikh religion.
Speaking out will enable
students to challenge the
stereotypical portrayal of

and to recognise the

artwork can be used to
communicate ideas.
Students will also
examine various
examples of religious art
and try to understand
what is being
communicated.
Communication with
God will involve students
reflecting on the concept
of God and what this
means for believers. To
consider Muslims’ beliefs
about Allah
