ICC EXCEPTION REPORTS FOR SPRAY FOAM INSULATION Current as of 7/1/2009 The following manufacturers of .5lb density spray foam insulation have submitted testing to the ICC in order to receive an exemption so their product can be sprayed directly on the roof deck in unvented attic applications without an ignition barrier. Several of these manufacturers’ submissions have resulted in not being approved without an ignition barrier and are noted below. If a manufacturer is not listed, they are not approved and have not submitted data to the ICC for this exception. It should also be noted that the ICC is changing the test methods for these approvals so that all spray foams will have to be re-tested for approval by June 1, 2010.
