Overall Averages - Miles ahead of everywhere within 100+ miles.
Meat very much wanted, on this trade how can you afford to go anywhere else to sell
sheep? And walk away cheque in hand. I think it will be a long time before I sell another pen
of hogs to £146.50, you’d never have thought it on the trade at the start of the year! One
comment I did hear today was how one Vendors same sheep were £26 a head dearer than
yesterday!! Speaks for itself…
Again this week several New Vendors who are starting to travel to Newark. Hogs will be
hard to put together in the next couple of weeks, but we should start to see more Springers
about, don’t be afraid of a Red Market, call me I am pleased to come and see you on farm
too!
Just over 200 Springers today met a very sound trade, we should start to see more in the
next few weeks.
We will hold our Spring Lamb Show & Sale on Wednesday 22nd May
