Latent variable path analysis
Similar to last week, your job, if you decide to take it, is to try to improve upon the
latent variable model that I showed in class. My proposed model was a slight
improvement over the original model: can you do better?
Your task
First, I would like for you to re-do the CFA to make sure that the obtained latent
variables make sense.
Second, make a new path model: re-order the variables, drop some out, whatever.
Don’t feel compelled to keep all variables in the model.
When you’re done, write a short paper telling me exactly what you did, including all
print-outs and figures as necessary.
The data
You will find the two files in the folder. They are: M&M.KM and M&Mlatent.ls8, which
are the correlation matrix and the LISREL syntax file, respectively.
