Work Experience
My extensive experience within the field of corrosion control began in my youth where I worked as
an applicator company prior to entering Painting Supervision / QA Inspection. This has given me
hands on experience which along with my technical inspection / supervisory skills enables me to
achieve a high quality end result. I am well-travelled having worked on marine & offshore new build
and refurbishment projects worldwide.
I am having experience working as part of an owner’s management supervision team in a Quality
Inspector capacity. Supervising inspection workforce and ensuring that the execution of company
policy, relevant standards, and codes of practice are adhered to.



Conducts coating activities on a regular basis and Recommend solution for preservation and
technical support.

Solving material and coating problems for offshore maintenance & projects.

Reviewing contractor / Vendor proposed coating specifications.

Prepares work scopes related to coating specification, Quantity Estimates and cost.

Plans, budgets, procure implements and Project Execution of Coating jobs. Part of shipyard



developments in materials, equipment's and material testing methods/techniques.

efficient utilization of resources and monitor staff performance. Supervising Low Pressure and High
Pressure fresh water cleaning, hand and power tool cleaning, abrasive blasting and inspection of
the areas prior to inspections by Yard/Paint Representative. Ensure that weather conditions are
suitable for blasting and paint application. Attend quality surveillance and final inspections and
liaison with Yard/ Technical Service Advisor from Paint Companies.
