Famous Faces Biography Book Report What You Need 1. 12” X 18” sheet of construction paper 2. one sheet of drawing paper 3. one sheet of lined writing paper 4. pencil, crayons, glue What You Do 1. On the FRONT of the folded paper, print the title and author of the biography you have read. Then print your NAME in the lower right-hand corner. 2. On the inside, glue the drawing paper on the left-hand side. Glue the lined writing paper on the right-hand side. 3. On the drawing paper on the left-hand side of the inside, draw and color a very neat picture of the main character. The picture should show the reason he or she is famous. It should be obvious from the picture who the person is. Use details and the background to show important information about the character. (I should know from the picture who the person is and why he or she is important.) 4. On the lined writing paper on the right-hand side of the inside, write the title of the biography. Underline it and capitalize it correctly. 5. Under the title, write the author. 6. Begin your paragraph with a topic sentence that tells the most important reasons why or how this person became famous. Remember to indent. 7. Continue your paragraph by telling five or more things you learned about this person by reading the biography. Be sure to choose important things this person did or important things that happened to this person. Use a new sentence for each of the things you learned. 8. Check your paragraph. It should be indented, have a topic sentence, and have at least five more well-written sentences that tell more about the character. 9.
