Hazardous Waste Landfill Vacancy

The National Environmental Preservation Company (BeeA’h), a market leader in the
Environmental and Waste Management field in Saudi Arabia is seeking to recruit a professional
to join an existing team of engineers and scientists to progress further growth and development
of the company.
We would like to hear from individuals with technical skills and experience indicated for the
following position:
LANDFILL MANAGER
Management of the operation and maintenance of the Landfill Facility. Responsible for
compliance with all regulations, permits and procedures.
Primary Duties

Responsible for the treatment and disposal of inorganic hazardous and none hazardous waste streams

Operates, optimizes and maintains the Encapsulation Plant and Chemical Treatment Plant

Organizes shift operations

Prepare treatment menu plans and coordinate planning with the Waste Management Division Manager.

Conducts daily reviews of the facility performance, waste destruction and disposal performance, and other
operations

Coordinate with the Laboratory Manager for the analysis of waste samples, process samples and environmental
monitoring samples

Engineering liaison with contractors, industries and control agencies

Provides job training and assigns work as appropriate to staff members
Qualifications & Experience

Engineering degree (preferably chemical or industrial ), and preferably with an additional qualification in
environmental engineering

8-10 years of industrial experience with a minimum of 3-4 years experience in the operation and management of
hazardous waste treatment and disposal facilities

Working knowledge of current regulations, permits and operating procedures related to hazardous waste
management

Computer literacy
