Integrated Algebra Regents Exam Assignments
In order to prepare for the upcoming Integrated Algebra Regents Exam, you are required to do practice
Regents exams and corrections, using the Topical Review Book Integrated Algebra Regents Exams and
our class web site: www.mshillig.org and then click on the Regents Review Center link. These
assignments will count as a test grade. You will be graded based on completing the assignments
according to the following directions.

You MUST DO ALL THE QUESTIONS FOR ALL THE EXAM PARTS (Parts I, II, III, IV) directly
on the answer sheet provided. If you are not sure about how to do a problem, YOU MUST TRY!
If you are completely stuck, you must at least write related definitions, formulas, diagrams,
charts, etc. NO WORK = NO CREDIT!!!

After you do the entire exam (all questions in all 4 parts) you MUST DO THE CORRECTIONS
USING ANOTHER COLOR PEN, using the class web site: www.mshillig.org and then clicking
on the Regents Review Center link. Mark your answers right or wrong directly on the answer
sheet, putting an X through the numbers of the questions you get wrong (including those you
could not do). Count how many questions you got right out of the total number of exam
questions, and put that score at the top of your assignment (#correct/total # of questions). In
the “Corrections” area of your assignment, ON SEPARATE PAPER (LOOSELEAF OR
GRAPH PAPER FOR GRAPHS), write the answers and explanations given on the
Answer Key supplied by the link on the class web site for each answer you did not get
correct.

USE a BLUE or BLACK PEN! ONLY GRAPHS MAY BE DONE IN PENCIL (COLORED
PENCILS MAY BE HELPFUL)! Do not use red pen/pencil for your work. You may use it only
for corrections.

BE NEAT! Use a ruler/compass/graph paper, etc., where appropriate.

CLEARLY IDENTIFY ALL WORK, BOX ALL FINAL ANSWERS AND LABEL THE
“CORRECTIONS” PART DONE ON SEPARATE PAPER.

PLACE YOUR FINAL ANSWERS TO PART I ON THE PART I ANSWER SHEET! Bubble in
your answer choice.

STAPLE THE CORRECTIONS TOGETHER!

WRITE YOUR NAME ON THE ANSWER SHEET AND THE CORRECTIONS!

BE SURE TO COMPLETE THE HEADNG AND SIGNATURE PART ON THE PART I ANSWER
SHEET!
Each assignment is worth up to 25 points, regardless of how many you get correct or incorrect.
You will be graded on the completeness of the assignment and following the directions
above (every direction!).
As you prepare and practice for the Regents by doing these assignments, you will benefit from the
many values of these exercises: to understand the format of the Integrated Algebra Regents Exam,
to discover patterns where you are making careless mistakes, to recognize topics where more
practice is needed, to get familiar with the types of questions asked and topics that are emphasized.
To get the full benefit, be sure to use the same calculator that you will be using on the actual
Regents exam.
