Following the 1st conference held in Hangzhou in June 2013, the 2014 International
Conference on Air Benefit, Cost and Attainment Assessment will be held on 28-30 May
2014 in Beijing, China. This Conference is being organised by Tsinghua University,
University of Tennessee, Zhejiang University, and South China University of Technology,
with support from other institutions, including the Ministry of Environmental Protection
of China, US EPA, and Energy Foundation. The Conference aims to provide a high-level
platform for air quality scientists and policy makers from various disciplines to exchange
ideas and views on key leading issues related to environment and energy in China and
over the world. A one-day training workshop on “Air Benefit and Cost Assessment and
Attainment System” (ABaCAS) will also be provided to air quality managers and
scientists of interest with demo and hands-on sessions on cutting-edge air quality
management tools on 28 May, 2014.

Abstract Submission:
Conference delegates may present abstract, or attend the conference without
presenting the abstract (A presentation title must be provided). To submit your abstract,
please visit section “Abstract Submission” on our conference web-site and submit your
abstract online before April 15, 2014.

Registration fee: The onsite registration fee is 1200RMB, and 600RMB for students.
The early registration fee is 1000RMB, and 500RMB for students. The registration fee
includes conference venue, documents and meals.
ABaCAS Training Workshop:
ABaCAS software package (including BenMAP-CE, SMAT-CE, RSM-VAT, and
CoST-CE) will be available for downloading and installation in the website one week
before the conference. Those interested should register online at our conference web-site.
The training is free, but charges for meals of 200RMB per person if not registered to the
conference.
