 DESPERATE CRIMINAL OF “TATLU GANG” ARRESTED.
 ONE .315 BORE PISTOL WITH 2 LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED.
 ACCUSED HAD CHEATED SEVERAL PEOPLE OF ORISSA, J&K AND
OTHER STATES ON THE PRETEXT OF SELLING GENUINE ANCIENT
GOLD BISCUITS/TREASURE OF “MUGHAL” ERA BURIED UNDER
EARTH ON HALF OF PREVALENT MARKET RATES.
INTRODUCTION:Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested a desperate criminal of
“Tatlu Gang” near Rajokari Flyover, NH-8, New Delhi and recovered one .315
bore pistol with two live cartridges from his possession. The accused has
cheated several people of Orissa, J&K and other states of India on the
pretext of selling genuine gold biscuits/bricks and ancient treasures of
Mughal era on half rates, allegedly found during digging of earth behind Taj
Mahal, Agra. The arrested accused has been identified as Mohd. Salim Khan
(age 25 years) s/o late Ismail Khan r/o Village Khencha Taan, Tehsil
Kama, PO & PS Jurhera (Mewat), District Bharatpur, Rajasthan.
TEAM& OPERATION:On 10.12.2013, information was received by SI Rajbir Singh that one
Mohd. Salim Khan, leader of “Tatlu Gang” is involved in inducing and luring
innocent people of Orrisa, J&K and other states on phones for selling fake
gold bricks/biscuits at half rates, after projecting the same as genuine gold.
Once the trapped victims approach them with money, the accused person
and his associates would rob them at gun point. It was further revealed that
the accused Salim Khan would come near Rajokari, NH-8, New Delhi.
Immediately, a team led by Insprs Digvijay Singh, Sandeep Malhotra and
comprising of SIs Arun Dev Nehra, Rajbir Singh, HCs Yashpal Singh, Sanjay
Tyagi, Surendra Malik, Shiv Veer Singh, Pawan, Neeraj Pandey, Cts Rajeev
Sahrawat, Pravindra Malik, Sanjay, Naresh Kumar was constituted to nab the
criminals under the close supervision of ACP Hoshiyar Singh and overall
guidance of DCP Bhisham Singh. A trap was laid near above-mentioned
expected place of arrival of accused Salim Khan and he was successfully
apprehended. One .315 bore pistol and two live cartridges were recovered
from his possession.
INTERROGATION AND PROFILE:The accused was put to sustained interrogation. During interrogation,
it was revealed that he belongs to a farmer family of Mewat region in District
Bharatpur, Rajasthan. His father expired long back and he has studied upto
middle class. Since he has a very small land holding in his village and due to
desertification and poor crop yields, only some people are involved in
agriculture while most of the youths of his village are indulging in this type of
cheating and other crimes. The modus operandi of the accused was that
he used to make numerous phone calls randomly in series on phone
numbers of Orissa starting from 9437, J&K and other remote states
of India, which are far away from Mewat region by posing himself as
Rahul Sharma, an extremely poor labourer of Rajasthan engaged in
digging work at different lands acquired by ASI (Archeological
Survey of India) near Yamuna river behind Taj Mahal. The accused
used to lure them that during the course of digging with JCB in the
ruins near Yamuna river, behind Taj Mahal in Agra, UP, he had
discovered some very ancient gold bricks/treasure of Mughal
Emperor Akbar’s era, which were buried under earth and he was
willing to sell the same at half rates compared to open market. His
aged and expert father had already got the same checked through
local goldsmith and the same has been found to be genuine. He is
having five such bricks, each of which is weighing approx. 800 gm.
Once an innocent person is trapped in his net, he used to
call him at specific places in Delhi or in neighbouring areas of
Gurgaon District for further dealing and checking of sample’s
genuineness. When the innocent victim used to come to Delhi or
Gurgaon, he used to cut a miniscule part of the fake gold brick in the
presence of victim and by trick of hand, he used to change the fake
gold piece with the original gold piece and handover it to the victim
as a sample for checking the authenticity. The victim becomes
confident after getting checked that genuine sample from a jeweller
and was ready to conclude the deal.
For further dealing and delivery of gold bricks, he used to
call the victims in Mewat region and used to loot all the money and
belongings of the victims at gun-point. In this way, the innocent
persons of remote states of India, unaware about the intentions of
these criminals, got looted of their hard earned money.
These criminals have been indulging in these types of
crimes from past times. They call their targets/victims as “Tatlu”
hence such gangs are called as “Tatlu Gang”.
The accused Salim Khan further disclosed that he is indulging in
such crimes since last about one& half years and have cheated/looted more
than Rs.10 lacs alongwith his associates from about a dozen innocent people
belonging to Jammu-Kashmir, Orissa etc. during this period. The
cases/complaints registered by the victims in this regard are being verified.
The investigation of the case is in progress. Efforts are being
made to trace and arrest his associates.

BRUTAL BLIND MURDER CASE SOLVED WITH IN 12 HRS, THREE
PERSONS ARRESTED
With the arrest of three accused person namely Irfan @ Furkan, Rakesh and Suraj
Hashmi, South-East district police has worked out a brutal and blind murder case
of a 34 years young man in the area of PS Jaitpur.
Incident, constitution of team and arrest:
On 10/12/2013 a PCR call was received at 02:57 P.M. regarding a
unknown dead body lying in Yamuna Khadar near Shri Ram Chowk. On reaching the
spot, a dead body of an unidentified men age about 25-30 yrs. was found lying in the
Yamuna Khadar area about 500 mtrs. towards Yamuna River from Pushta Road. The face
of the dead body was brutally smashed and disfigured so that it cannot be identified. In
this regard a case vide FIR No. 461/13, u/s 302/201 IPC, dated 10/12/2013, PS. Jaitpur
was registered and investigation was taken up by Inspr. Ravinder Kumar Tomar, ATO/PS
Jaitpur. Immediately a team was constituted under the supervision of InsprArvind Kumar
SHO/PS. Jaitpur including InsprRavinder Kumar ATO PS. Jaitpur, SI Narender, SI
Hemant Kumar, SI Rohit Kumar, HC Balinder, HC Ravinder, CT Vikas, CT Kuldeep,
CT Niranjan, CT Mam Chand, CT Brijpal and CT Hawa Singh under the overall
supervision of ACP/SaritiaVihar, Sh. Vipin Kumar Nayar.
Since the face of the deceased was totally disfigured and no traces of
evidence were left behind on examining the body it was a big task for the police to
establish the identity of the deceased. On recovery of the purse of the deceased and on
analyzing the visiting cards, photographs, a bank deposit slip for the month of July month
in Jamia Co-Operative Bank JJ Colony was recovered. Immediately the staff was sent to
the bank to get the details of account holder and his mobile number. After getting the
details of the account holder he was interrogated at length and he identified the photo in
the pocket of the deceased. At the instance of the disclosure of the account holder a team
was rushed to Noida, where the team found a lady Noor Fatima w/o NabiMohd., who
identified the body on the basis of given description and she later identified the dead
body in the mortuary as well. Another team was also analyzing the mobile surveillance
and detail of all the persons who are coming in the way of investigation. On interrogation
of Noor Fatima it was revealed that there was contradiction in her statement and the
result obtained on the basis of mobile surveillance. During the in-depth interrogation
Noor Fatima broke down. She disclosed that Irfan @ Furkan was known to them for
about three years. Irfan used to financially support them and she developed physical
relation with Irfan. About one years ago the deceased NabiMohd.came to know about
their relationship. Instead of opposing them NabiMohd got his wife Noor Fatima married
with Irfanand started black mailing Irfan on the pretext that he will intimate this fact to
the wife of Irfan. Irfan used to give money to Noor Fatima as well as NabiMohd. but
NabiMohd had frequent fight with Irfan. On 09/12/2013 they again had an altercation on
this score and NabiMohd. abusedIrfan and asked him to meet him, if he dared. On this
Irfan planned to eliminate NabiMohd. and took two of his associate Rakesh and Suraj
with him and asked NabiMohd. to come at Pushta Road near Shiv Hanuman Mandir. At
about 09:30 PM NabiMohd. reached there. Irfan and his associates immediately start
beating him and took him to Yamuna Ghat side behind Shiv Hanuman Mandir.
Irfanalongwith his associates crushed his head with a brick and slit his throat. They
disfigured the face of deceased completely so that no one can identify his dead body and
took away his mobile phone and Maruti 800 Car No. DL-2CR-5093 of deceased with
them.Irfan and his associates handed over Mobile phone and Maruti Car to Noor Fatima
at her residence to destroy the link of identity of deceased. They also threatened Noor
Fatima not to disclose this fact to any one other wise she and her children will also be
eliminated like her husband and also assured for financial support for the family.
Unfortunately Purse of the deceased could not be taken away as they noticed some
movement over there and flee from the spot.
INTERROGATION:
Mohd.Furkan @ Irfan : He came in contact with Mohd. Nabi.three years back and had
good bounding with him. He developed family relations with him and also give financial
support to him and also placed Noor Fatima in job. He developed intimacy with Noor
Fatima when Mohd. Nabi came to know about their relationship and he got married Noor
Fatima with Irfanand started extorting money on the pretext that he may disclose this fact
to the wife of Irfan. Mohd.Nabi also used filthy language against him and his family. On
09/12/2013 Mohd.Nabi again used filthy language against him and his family and also
threatened,so he decided to eliminate NabiMohd. and called his ex-employee Rakesh and
his friend Suraj. He instigated Mohd. Nabi to come at Pushta Road. All the three had
drink together and on arrival of Mohd. Nabi, they beat him and took him to Khadar area
and brutally killed him with Brick and chopped of his neck. They destroyed the face of
the deceased so that it cannot be identified. They threw the sharp edge weapon
somewhere in Sikandrabad jungle.

4. One Blood stained Brick.
5. Blood stained clothes of accused persons.
6. Paper related to marriage of Irfan with Noor Fatima.
Further investigation is going on to recover the sharp edge weapon.
The team involvedis being suitably rewarded.
