Inspiring children to transform the world.
Dear Community Partner,
On behalf of our IPS Butler Lab School parent organization, The Lab Collab, I am writing to
request a donation for our annual Art Gala. A Reggio-inspired partnership between IPS and Butler
University, our school's mission is both simple and ambitious: To inspire children to transform the
world. As a newly formed, growing school, we currently serve a diverse population of 415 students
in preschool through 4th grade.
The Art Gala, scheduled for April 17th, will highlight students' artwork, the work of local artists,
and offer hands-on opportunities for art-making. It is also our opportunity to raise money for the
extra art supplies the children need to carry them through another school year enriched by the arts.
At IPS Butler Lab, the arts aren't an extra. They're a key part of every subject on every school day,
bringing learning to life for our students. When children with their natural curiosity and creativity
are encouraged to get their hands and their hearts involved in the learning process, a few remarkable
things happen: Students become instinctive seekers of knowledge, and a caring community of likeminded friends begins to take shape. Your tax deductible donation would help us to continue to
inspire these young minds through the arts.
