Essen / Lingen, 7th March 2012 – In the "Fino" product line Emco
Bad introduced a new series of bathroom accessories at the SHK
Essen 2012. A fine, rectilinear design combined with round style
elements defines the new products' classically modern look. One of
the characteristic design features of the product series is a flat band
form elegantly ending in a round wall element. In combination with the
minimalised lines the new bathroom accessories stand out
consistently for their perfect lightness of form and so reflect the spirit
of our age. As part of a market-focused reorientation the new product
is intended to supplement the manufacturer’s overall range over the
long term and adequately. Accordingly, the look of the new series is in
keeping with present design trends in the sanitary fitting market and in
this way enables a contemporary, harmoniously coordinated bathroom
atmosphere to be achieved.
With a total of 14 different wall-mounted articles the range covers the
entire functional diversity of established bathroom accessories. The
product mix includes for use on and around the washstand and WC a
glass holder, including mouthwash glass, a soap holder with glass
dish, a liquid soap dispenser with a capacity of 200 ml, a paper holder
which comes optionally with or without a lid, a reserve paper holder
and a toilet brush set. Furthermore, two swing-out, two-armed towel
holders - 450 or, as a variant for the guest WC, 350 mm deep, a
hand-towel ring, a 600 and an 800 mm-wide bath-towel holder, a bathtub handle with a width of 300 mm and a double hook complete the
comprehensive range of the series.
Chromium-plated surfaces and choice materials underscore the high
quality standard of all the components. While brass is used for the

rectilinear, slender band forms, the style-forming round elements are
of high-quality, galvanised die-cast zinc. The glass elements in the
case of the mouthwash glass, the soap dish and liquid-soap dispenser
are made of clear glass and in the case of the toilet-brush set of
satinised crystal glass. The glass holder, brush or just the brush head
of the toilet brush set, mouthwash glass, soap dish as well as the
glass holder and metering pump of the liquid-soap dispenser are also
available as separate items.
A concealed fastening device consisting of a black adapter made of
high-strength plastic and fastened to the wall with two screws also
ensures that the bathroom accessories can be fitted easily and
attractively. The selected product then need merely be mounted onto
the wall adapter and finally fastened with a set screw. This fastening
device, which is of a standard design for all products of the series,
enables the bathroom accessories to be exchanged with very few
movements of the hand and without additional drilling work or
recombined to freshen up the overall look.
