Essen / Lingen, 12th March 2014 – Emco Bad at SHK Essen 2014
presented consistent further developments of and additions to the
versatile vanity units of its innovative asis room system. The range of
wall-hanging vanity units, vanity unit countertops and shelves already
successfully launched on the market during the past year has now
been rationally expanded to include models double the cabinet height
and a stylish organiser system. So all vanity units on which a pull-out
drawer has been incorporated into the console are now available with
a height of 296 mm. Like the existing product range, the new model
variants are fitted with high-quality glass surfaces, optionally in the
colour tones optiwhite or black. From now on the pull-out drawers will
be provided with an organiser system made from a 10 mm-thick finechipboard sheet with a walnut veneer, to which a second element can
optionally be added. The stylish organiser system, says the
manufacturer, is clearer and better structured, enables standing
utensils in particular to be securely held and considerably enhances
the interior of the drawers both visually and functionally. The new
developments are thus aimed mainly at private users who want
increased, convenient and attractively designed storage space right
by the vanity unit.
The delivery of the vanity units includes a variant with integrated
basin, a vanity unit countertop that can be combined with many of the
latest stand-on basins by reputable manufacturers and a shelf that
can be used both on its own and in combination with the vanity unit
models. All three versions are available in three different widths, while
1/4
the 134 mm-high version is fitted optionally with a pull-out drawer or
front panel. The Lingen-based manufacturer thus offers a wide choice
of vanity unit solutions that enable a lot of design freedom for nearly
all requirement profiles in the high-quality private and public sector.
The widths, at 815, 1,015 and 1,215 mm, are specially tailored to
match the dimensions of the LED illuminated mirror cabinets also
forming part of the room system. Furthermore, the high-quality glass
fronts of the consoles also form a further component underlining
system compatibility. Here the two optional colour tones match the
available glass surfaces of the numerous modular units in the range.
The pull-out drawer incorporated in the console is fitted with
concealed hinges and an automatic pull-in function and offers stylish,
convenient storage space. Vanity unit solutions with a functionfocused front panel have, on the 815 mm-wide version, a towel holder
in the form of an oval recess, while the 1,015 and 1,215 mm-wide
versions additionally have a rear-fitted holder for a standard-type
cosmetic wipe box and a matching pull-out hole.
The 815 mm-wide version of models with an integrated basin have a
circular and the 1,015 mm- and 1,215 mm-wide versions an oval wash
basin. This, together with a 15 mm-thick countertop, forms a smoothly
integrated element of high-quality, white mineral composite. The
design here, with the round shape of the basin, forms a deliberate but
gentle contrast to the clear, rectilinear character of the console just
below it. By contrast, 12 mm-thick toughened safety glass that stands
out for its especially high impact strength is used for support surfaces
on the vanity unit and shelves. All vanity unit and vanity unit
countertop models are also provided with a prefabricated tap hole.
