Essen / Lingen, 10th March 2010 – Emco Bad at SHK Essen 2010
presented new additions to the "System 2" series of bathroom
accessories which are suitable for comfortable sanitary areas in public
and commercial establishments. Introduction of the new products
logically rounds off the extensive public and commercial building
fixtures and fittings forming part of the design-coordinated and very
broadly positioned series. Thus the range also offers individual and
both functionally and creatively coordinated complete solutions for
public and commercial buildings – for example, hotels and
restaurants, care and education establishments, exhibition and sports
facilities or administrative buildings. The shapely design goes
harmoniously with nearly every architectural style. Thus, for instance,
the latest additions to the series share the linear, cylindrical basic
structure defining the modern, clean look of the products. Each
component also has a contrastingly coloured design element, a styling
feature that runs consistently throughout the entire range. In this way
the unity of the individual articles is underlined in a visually attractive
manner. In keeping with requirements in the public and commercial
buildings sector the new additions to the series are also outstanding
for their high-quality materials, lasting functionality and easy handling.
The new wall-mounted fixtures and fittings for public and commercial
buildings include liquid soap and paper towel dispensers, toilet paper
holders and a waste bin having a highly polished high-grade steel
surface and a capacity of 30 litres. The liquid soap dispenser has a
capacity of 800 ml. There is a choice of two different design variants,
in which the soap lotion can be obtained either manually via a

pushbutton or by sensor control. The paper towel dispenser is
designed to hold approx. 500 commercially available folded hand
towels, while the toilet paper holder can be filled with two or three
paper rolls in widths up to 115 mm, depending on the variant. The
basic material for the highly polished chromium-plated housings of the
dispensers for liquid soap and paper hand towels and of the toilet
paper holders is aluminium. Filling the components, which are
provided with a filling level indicator, is made fast and easy by a
standard lock.
Furthermore, four crystal mirror models have been added to the very
diverse product range of the series. The rectangular mirrors are
available in the sizes 700 x 950 mm, 700 x 650 mm, 1,000 x 950 mm
and 1,000 x 650 mm. The dimensions here enable precise
combination with the cylindrical wall lights already included in the
range. Furthermore, with a wall-mounted highly polished chromiumplated cotton wool pad dispenser the manufacturer has included in his
range a product which is not readily available in the market. With a
height of 132 mm and a diameter of 66 mm the dispenser can be
stocked with a sufficient supply of commercially available cotton wool
pads.
As well as articles for public and commercial buildings, the series also
includes classical bathroom accessories as well as shapely safety
components for assisting freedom of movement as required. In this
way the range meets high standards of comfort and convenience for
all purposes and all generations of users. The very wide diversity of
products enables with altered safety or functional requirements a
user-oriented extension of the existing bathroom fittings in a
coordinated design. At the same time the product range includes an
extensive range of variants for the respective requirement. Thus, for
example, the series includes six different models of liquid soap
dispensers with different fitting and functional elements. In this way a
component alternative to meet individual requirements can be
selected from the range.
