Nikkei Business Daily and the Nikkei Marketing Daily, extracted from Major Articles on ENGLISH
NEWS menu.
Information on news selected for translation
Translation is focused on major news on economy, finance, industry and politics datelined in Japan
and other Asian countries. The number of translated articles on a weekday totals to 120-130, about
60 from The Nihon Keizai Shimbun and another 60 from the remaining three papers; The Nikkei
Financial Daily, The Nikkei Business Daily, The Nikkei Marketing Daily. Such total number is
reduced to half on Saturdays and Sundays.
The following columns and commentaries are also translated into English. Articles may be selected
for OPINION and ANALYSIS from any page, depending on the contents of articles.
